Dodd & Co looking to future with even further growth as they appoint two new Partners for 2022!
Dodd & Co Chartered Accountants are delighted to announce the appointment of two new partners for 2022. Jonathan Ridley has been made a Tax Partner and Nathan Glaister has been made the firm’s first Financial Services Partner.
Jonathan joined Dodds straight from school as a tax apprentice and qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 2011 and a Trust and Estate Practitioner in 2013. Jonathan works with a wide range of clients to help them keep their tax liabilities to a minimum and navigate an increasingly complex tax system. His expertise lies in trusts and estate planning, as well as land and property tax issues.
Nathan Glaister joined the Dodd & Co team in 2015 and set up the firm’s financial services sister company Dodd Wealthcare Limited. With over 20 years’ experience as a financial adviser, Nathan works closely with both Dodd & Co and Dodd Wealthcare clients to provide a completely independent and joined up approach to financial planning. A Dodd Wealthcare Director since 2017, Nathan is joining the Dodd & Co partnership to further support the growth between the two firms.
Dodd & Co, who have just celebrated their 40th birthday, are continuing to grow year on year and now have almost 200 staff working from their Carlisle and Penrith offices.
Partner Alison Johnston commented “The Doddie ethos has always been to provide excellent client service, whilst providing a great working environment and fantastic career opportunities for our team. Jonathan and Nathan both bring different skills and knowledge to the table and guarantee the continued success and strength of the team here at Dodd & Co. I am incredibly proud of the team we have built; everyone makes a difference, and everyone has the opportunity to progress.
We have grown our business by communicating with our clients and building long lasting relationships that offer the very best support and advice. Whether you’re a retailer, multi-million-pound manufacturer, a farmer or a doctor – there’s a team of experts at Dodd & Co that can help you, giving you that all important peace of mind.”
Whilst the firm looks to the future, they also announce the retirement of Ian and Jeanette Brown. Ian was one of the founding partners 40 years ago and Jeanette joined almost 39 years ago. Both have played a fundamental role in establishing Dodd & Co as a leading Cumbrian business. They both leave a legacy they can be very proud of and everyone at Dodds wishes them a long and happy retirement.
