An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated HR specialist to join us at Dodd & Co.

Working closely with our HR Manager you will be involved in providing advice and guidance to ensure that our business, and everyone working here at Dodd & Co, is fully supported throughout all stages of their employment, whilst ensuring compliance with Dodd & Co’s employment related guidelines, policies and procedures and current employment laws.

Key skills required:

  • A minimum of 2 years prior experience in a similar role.
  • A sound working knowledge of current UK employment law and HR best practice (CIPD qualified or qualified through experience).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, favouring a collaborative, supportive approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office and the use of HRIS. (We use SafeHR). Experienced in applying IT to the streamlining and improving of processes.
  • Self-motivation, able to work on their own initiative.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks – prepared at times to manage conflicting priorities.
  • An excellent eye for detail, producing consistently accurate work.

Based at our Carlisle office, with regular travel to our Penrith office, this is a full time role.
