LOCATION: CARLISLE

Dodd & Co is a progressive Cumbria based firm of Accountants and Business advisors with clients throughout the UK.

Continuing demand for payroll support has resulted in an exciting opportunity for an experienced payroll specialist to join our team.

With your payroll "know how" and enthusiasm for delivering excellent client care you will be responsible for looking after all aspects of our clients' payroll, providing a friendly and efficient service tailored to their needs.

Working with small family businesses up to large group companies with hundreds of employees the work is varied, interesting and, at times, challenging.

As an experienced payroll specialist you will be responsible for everything from  straightforward calculations and the accurate application of current payroll legislation through to more intricate aspects of payroll processing, such as dealing with Automatic Enrolment duties; multiple pension providers and scheme contribution requirements, holiday pay calculations, employment allowance guidance and year-end processes.

Liaising directly with both clients and HMRC, you will be a confident, friendly, and professional communicator.

Equipped with strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks, you’ll work accurately and effectively, even when under pressure, to ensure all deadlines are met.

Previous payroll experience is essential, with experience within a payroll bureau setting preferred.
