Andrew joined the firm in 2006 after finishing his Agriculture degree at Newcastle University. Having the experience and knowledge of working on a farm, he moved into the firm’s farming department after becoming chartered in 2009, becoming partner in 2016.
He looks after a wide range of family farms and farming companies advising on accounts, VAT, tax and general business queries and also specialises in the renewables sector. Andrew advises clients on a wide range of renewables projects, including wind turbines and anaerobic digester plants, advising on business planning, obtaining finance and minimising tax.
Andrew loves the outdoors and explores the Lake District whenever he can! In his spare time you’ll catch him out and about discovering even more of the local area as he works his way through the Wainwrights!
